I hear a lot of people say that they don’t like sales. Most of these people are salesmen and don’t know it.
When you talk to your spouse, kids or friends into seeing or doing things your way, you are selling! Going into an interview for a job, club acceptance or school admittance? Yes, those will be times you are selling yourself once again. When you asked your spouse for a date or marriage, you were selling yourself.
I truly believe if everyone would learn how to sell, they would realize it’s a great way to get money and everything else you want in life. Why wouldn’t you want to improve on a skill like selling when it would speed up the realization of your goals and aspirations? An important lesson that I’ve learned is not to be complacent with my sales skills, but to always be developing them. Use your sales skills to get more accomplished and make more money in less time, leaving you more time to enjoy your life!
